Here at last is our chance to follow our Divine Mother¹s example and follow Her into the waters of compassionate service where others will not go. Yes, She will guide us. Sounds like the Hot Springs Ashram, has once again already sprung into action, as it did after the Tsunami. Amma has told Swamiji to go there and soon we¹ll learn more that we can do. Meanwhile, let¹s join in the prayers as Swamiji has directed. Dear premarupa ~ what is the NA? You know, you are a poet ... those words, "...follow Her into the waters of compassionate service..." ~ that really grabbed my heartstrings. I have decided that all of the money I make tomorrow from the children's beading project (won't be a lot, since I am only charging $.50 for the bracelet kits and $1.00 for the necklace kits) and 20% of any money I make from the sale of my own jewelry will go to the Hurricane Relief efforts. This is not enough ... it is a drop in the bucket ... but it is, for me a start, and something I can do without too much difficulty because it is part of something I am already going to be doing. I also plan to ask our group to donate all the profits from our art raffle to the Red Cross. It will be interesting to see what they decide. Also, what prayers did Swamiji direct us to join in? I think maybe I missed a digest. Thank you, Hugs ~ LInda
