May give directly to MA Center for Katrina

Hello Amma Devotees ....MA Center board of Directors is setting up a

fund for donations to the Katrina Relief "mark General Katrina".....and

Dayamrita is headed to Arkansas Center run by Amma devotee to coordinate

efforts.......

 

Please keep posted. Why dispute what other organizations have to offer

or how they manage their missions, when we know that Amma's direction &

efforts will be outstanding and heroic. We might follow her lead to stay

calm and determine the most effective way to be a resource or assistant

to those in need, including those in the front lines of the rescue

mission, who are weary.

To Linda: Possible Alternative to "Other Charities"

Dear Linda

 

My sense is to wait a bit before sending money to a non-Ammachi

organization.

This may not be accurate, Lindaji. Amma has dispatched Brother

Dayamrita to Her Hot Springs, Arkansas ashram. Uma from that ashram has

gone into full action mode. I am personally waiting to see if M.A.

Center sets up a fund specifically targeting relief efforts viz. Hot

Springs.

 

Many of us are aware that 100 percent of money donated goes to victims

if M.A. Center supervises. The Red Cross and Salvation Army have

significant over-head.

 

Dayamrita will certainly make another announcement on M.A. Center and

Katrina Relief shortly. My sense is to wait a bit and then donate to

M.A. Center for Hot Springs if a fund materializes.
