My sense is to wait a bit before sending money to a non-Ammachi organization.

This may not be accurate, Lindaji. Amma has dispatched Brother Dayamrita to Her

Hot Springs, Arkansas ashram. Uma from that ashram has gone into full action

mode. I am personally waiting to see if M.A. Center sets up a fund specifically

targeting relief efforts viz. Hot Springs.

 

Many of us are aware that 100 percent of money donated goes to victims if M.A.

Center supervises. The Red Cross and Salvation Army have significant over-head.

 

Dayamrita will certainly make another announcement on M.A. Center and Katrina

Relief shortly. My sense is to wait a bit and then donate to M.A. Center for

Hot Springs if a fund materializes.
