Guest guest
I am praying daily for the refugees in our southern states who have been uprooted by hurricane Katrina. The same goes for all the souls already departed, be they from the human, animal or the plant kingdoms. I wish that Amma was able to come to the South ASAP!!! Knowing Her, I'm sure that She'd be able to organize an amazing humanitarian effort. In hours, She'd set up shelters & start feeding the people, just like she did in Kerala back in December. Only with this catastrophe do I realize just what miracles occurred around Her when the tsunami hit India last December. But if Amma can't be there to personally direct the relief efforts, the next best thing to bring some order out of the Katrina chaos is almost a no-brainer: bring the troops -- particularly the Louisiana National Guard -- home from Iraq! http://www.antiwar.com/roberts/?articleid=7131 BTW I have some fond memories of New Orleans, having visited there in 1989, and re-enacting the Arlo Guthrie song "riding on the City of New Orleans" (Amtrak train southbound from Chicago). Some of those memories involve getting blasted on Bourbon St., as this was in my younger pre-yoga/spirituality/Amma days. Guest guest
Amma is there. She is everywhere. Amma was in Dixieji's ICU unit. West Virginia is a southern state. Amma was flying around that room with our Satsang member in Her arms. So Keval Amma is a Southern type. South India and all ... I assume you are now Post-Yoga getting "blasted" by divine shakti. Thanks for the humorous post. I have been down in the dumps over an entity called Katrina. Guest guest
Amma is already there in spirit. Her love is endless. She does not have to be physically present. Feel her arms around you. Let her comfort you with her hugs. Love, Carol Mike Brooker <patria1818 wrote: > > I wish that Amma was able to come to the South > ASAP!!! > > > Knowing Her, I'm sure that She'd be able to organize > an amazing humanitarian effort. > Absolutely!! Guest guest
Maybe Amma will adopt an area in New Orleans like Buj in Gujerat?
