I have to say that I cannot imagine the stress of

being in a shelter with literally thousands of other

people for an extended period.

 

And...in the midst of so much tragedy and suffering,

there is something very wonderful about the prospect

of people who were strangers to one another now

connecting in compassion and gratitude...
