How wonderful - and yes, there were several very, very distinct times of

Amma's presence with me and of blessings literally swirling in my room...I am

still sorting it out as I sepnt one night feeling as though Amma had

superimposed LInda and me together and the message was that our daughters-

Jennifer

and Joy - served as Her hands in our lives and that we were never alone - nore

we were any less that all part the the same cloth, so to speak. The beautfiul

part was that I could hear - and feel- Amma laughing and singing from

somewhere near the base of my spine and everywhere else in the room at the sane

time. I could also sense Her dancing - and I'm still not quite sure how - but

the dancing was very Native American while Her laughter rang like it does in a

bajhan. LInda, don't let physical sep[aration worry you; Amma is dnacing

for us and Her energy dances in our girls. Mother is closer than our own

heartbeats.

Dear heart Dixie ~ I am amazed and sitting with tears in my eyes at reading

your words. To feel, that, in some way, Amma connected us through our girls as

a way of knowing we're never alone, as well as for other reasons, I'm sure

.... seems miraculous to me. And the Native American dancing seems almost like

a direct message from Amma to me ~ She is All in All, All Cultures, All

Peoples, All of Everything, and She will sometimes show us the grace to appear

to

us in a form that is especially endearing. I can "see" Amma dancing and her

dancing in our girls.

While you were in the hospital, I was inspired for some reason that I can't

explain, to write five songs to/about Amma. When I get a chance, I will send

them to you to read and hope you enjoy them.

Imagine Amma dancing to the words of the song below. I wrote this song as a

part of the "Earth Blessing Ceremony" I developed following intensive study of

Navajo culture, especially the Blessingway Chant. This song is the second

part of the ceremony. The first part is telling the Creation Story (for which I

also have a song) because in many cultures, worldwide, in their rituals,

telling the Creation Story is a way to go back to the point before time began,

when all was unconditioned. This is the place from which miracles are

possible. The song below is to "create" a sacred space for healing or balancing

or

whatever the need may be.

The song is repetitive (kind of like bhajans) because in this way, it was

easier for everyone to be part of the singing and so part of the creation of the

sacred space. Okay, I won't say more about it, but I thought a little

background might be good. (Now, don't forget to imagine Amma dancing...) Love ~

Linda
