This is a metaphor so I personally do not want to give it any specific definition. The tsunami was close enough to 2005 for me to give Amma a benefit of a doubt. Hurricane Katrina is one of the worst natural catastrophes in North America in decades. The year is barely half over Avram. Let us hope we cannot cite more evidence of "darkness" in the remaining months ::I don't recall there being a distinction in Amma's prediction between natural vs. man-made catastrophes. One doesn't have to look further than 911 to wonder why there had not been a prediction in 2000 that 2001 would be a "dark" period. Everything is up in the air now. There are those who say that Amma cannot be hurt unless She wills it, while She herself said that if someone wants to kill Her, it's easy enough to do: She did not claim invulnerability. What is one to think about any of this? That bastard was one lunge away from slitting Her throat; what do you all think he was trying to do, approaching Her from behind? Luckily, fatefully, he was stopped. Good thing it was not a gun, which would be much more difficult to have stopped. Truly, a close call.
