Guest guest
Dear One(s): Much of the collective energy of this List based Satsang is directed toward praying. In Advaita Vedanta it is contended that the one unit is appearing as the many. Amma says in the Deccan Herald (a Bangalore Newspaper) Sunday May 1, 2005) " “I don’t think of myself as doing things for people, I am not separate, I am like the limbs of the body, if I come to the aid of the unfortunate, it’s really like one hand caressing the other when it hurts. I teach my children to be prepared to do anything.” So when we pray to Amma to stop a hurricane who is praying to whom? How is She different from the wind, rain and the victims on the ground. How is the Divine Mother separate from even a virus like West Nile? We in our ignorant condition feel that we are down here and She is up there. The deluded ones (myself very much included) cry for help. Who is crying to whom? With Love,
