This morning I watched CNN. They had a camera on downtown New Orleans. The screen went completely dark during the ferocious hurricane. It was not a technical difficulty. There was no light in the early morning there at that given point in time. New Orleans was enveloped in darkness on a summer morning. > > Anyone still doubt Amma's prediction for 2005? > > With Love, > > GeorgeSon > In what year did nothing bad happen? Guest guest
Dear Avram: Avram asked: "In what year did nothing bad happen?" OM NAMAH SHIVAYA: As you know having faith by definition requires suspension of "so called" empirical definitiveness. There is also the tug of war between what has been destined and Amma contra-indicating it. People on this list do not seem to want me to take on the "role" of Amma's defender. My issue with your question is not designed to challenge or debate. Take my two cents and cash it in at a candy store for a tootsie roll. Oops they are probably now a nickel. It appears that your question is a bit over-broad. The answer to your question is - NEVER. However my observation entailed "natural disasters" Amma only alluded to dark clouds. This is a metaphor so I personally do not want to give it any specific definition. The tsunami was close enough to 2005 for me to give Amma a benefit of a doubt. Hurricane Katrina is one of the worst natural catastrophes in North America in decades. The year is barely half over Avram. Let us hope we cannot cite more evidence of "darkness" in the remaining months. Better safe (eg. Pray) than sorry. Either that or find me something sweet for two centavos. I see dark clouds too, towards the end of 2005. But if y'all pray, it will go away. So get out your rosaries! And if I am not right, you can sue me. Guest guest
The dark clouds are not just the hurricane but the ramifications that will result from it. - vallathnkumar Ammachi Tuesday, August 30, 2005 9:09 PM Re: [Ammachi ]It was a very good year-Sinatra > In a message dated 8/30/2005 5:39:49 PM Eastern Standard Time, > Ammachi writes: > Om Peace Peace Peace > > > > Amma predicted that for 2005 She saw dark clouds. > > ... Guest guest
DEAR BROS: METEOROLOGISTS ARE BAFFLED THAT AT THE LAST SECOND THE HURRICANE HAD A DRY WIND MOVE KATRINA AWAY FROM NEW ORLEANS. KATRINA WAS HEADING TOWARD NEW ORLEANS DEAD ON. ASSOCIATED PRESS SAID: "Devastating as Katrina was, it would have been far worse but for a puff of dry air that came out of the Midwest, weakening the hurricane just before it reached land and pushing it slightly to the east. The gust transformed a Category 5 monster into a less-threatening Category 4 storm, and pushed Katrina off its Big Easy-bound trajectory, sparing New Orleans a direct hit — though not horrendous harm. "It was kind of an amazing sequence of events," said Peter Black, a meteorologist at the Hurricane Research Division of the federal government's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory. SPIRITUAL SEEKERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE MAY HAVE PRAYED TO THE DIVINE FORCE WITHIN AND AVERTED TOTAL DESTRUCTION. THANK THE HIGHER POWER FOR THAT.
