Guest guest
OM AMRITESWARYE NAMAH! THE FOLLOWING IS A CONVERSATION OVER THE TELEPHONE BETWEEN GEORGE (GEORGESON) AND DIXIE (SNEHALATA). MY NOTES ARE SKETCHY BUT GENERALLY ACCURATE. I RECEIVED DIXIE'S VERBAL PERMISSION TO POST OUR CONVERSATION WITHIN THIS GROUP. SHE SEEMED VERY HAPPY TO HAVE ME REPORT IT TO THIS SATSANG. DIXIE REQUESTS THAT NO ONE CALL HER ROOM FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. I KNOW MANY OF YOU ARE ANXIOUS TO CALL HER BUT PLEASE WAIT AS PER HER REQUEST. SNEHALATA: Tell everyone thank you. The prayers made a big difference. I was touch and go. On Tuesday when I received a blood transfusion and it felt like Amma was holding me in a cotton swath. I am convinced that the prayers made a critical difference. George- Can you describe the feeling a little more? SNEHALATA: She stripped away a lot of the silliness that I took to be important. These day to day matters are not really important. On Tuesday during the transfusion I sensed that I could go either way. I was held by a thread. It did not matter because Amma was carrying me around the room. Amma was carrying me in something like a cloud like blanket all around the room. George -Did you palpably feel that it was actually Amma? SNEHALATA- Yes I had no doubt it was Her. It was clearly Her. It felt like I was hanging by a thread. It did not matter if I went out of my body or stayed in. I felt safe either way. George_ As if She took away the fear. SNEHALATA - I was secure with Her direction which ever way She carried. George- Would you equate this to a near death experience? (Dixie (Snehalata) hesitated before answering. She perhaps was surprised by this question.) SNEHALATA: Yes. It probably was that. I feel she will put me where she needs me to go. She knows where I needed to go. George -So at that moment it felt good either way? SNEHALATA: Yes George - You felt safe? SNEHALATA - Very safe. George - This sounds very much like Amma We are Her children and She is our mother holding us in the safety of Her arms.. SNEHALATA - That’s right. Being in her arms felt like I was home. George - Is there anything we (the ) can send you? SNEHALATA: I am not very awake right now. Just ask the to send prayers. Just prayers. George- I will be at MA center this weekend. I can buy anything for you - books tapes anything SNEHALATA - Just prayers will do. George - You just surrender and She takes care of you. SNEHALATA - I don’t know how much I surrender But for the part I do - yes. ... (Dixie said something else but it is too metaphysical for me to convey at this moment) For another five minutes or so I told Snehalata about the knife incident on Sunday. Dixie expressed relief that Amma was unharmed. Snehalata seemed amazed that Arun ( I communicated NOT our Arun) will be okay. SNEHALATA- Will the man be okay? George - AIMS thinks he may be discharged this week. PART THREE TO COME. I AM EMOTIONALLY DRAINED AT THIS MOMENT. JAI JAI MA!!! GEORGESON Start your day with - make it your home page
Guest guest
Thank you so much for sharing this remarkable experience of Dixie's with us. How wonderful to have so much trust in Amma that you can go either way.
