prayer hall into two. Metal detectors have been set up at both the

the Math.

Math vice-president Swami Amritaswaroopananda told this website's that

the Math was happy with the government gesture.

A record number of devotees participated in the weekly bhajan attended

by the Mata on Wednesday. It was the first prayer meeting held after

the Sunday attack on the Mata.

Meanwhile, two metal detectors have been installed at the Mata

Amritanandamayi Math, on Wednesday, in the wake of the attempt to

attack the Mata.

The metal detectors were installed at the main entrance of the Math.

Police, including women constables, have been deployed for examining

the baggage and the visitors.

The inmates of the Math will assist the police. Admission to the Math

Two policemen in plainclothes will be posted at the venue where the

those who enter the Math premises.

Separate identity cards will be introduced for the vehicles of the Math.
