Guest guest
Namah Shviaya, A coworker relayed a dream, which seemed to be more than a dream. Someone was showing her around a place with rooms, such as a temple, where it sounded as if rituals were being performed. Then the guide showed her a sword, & indicated that that was what the deity really was .. the essence of It. She's not knowledgeable about Hinduism, but says she feels drawn to it & wants to feel the energy at the MA Center. I thought the sword may represent Kali. Any other thoughts about Who the sword may represent? Thank you, Sweta
Guest guest
Sri Ramakrishna referred to Narendra (Vivekananda) as an unsheathed sword. In this case he was referring to Narendra's visible divine consciousness. Guest guest
I'm not a dream expert, but Kali does have a pretty cool sword which She uses to "behead" Her devotees (i.e. sever the ego). I just got the "Vintage Scenes" DVD, which has some great footage from 1980 of (among other stunning scenes) Amma dancing in Kali Bhava, with Her tongue hanging out and Her expression quite fierce. In it, the devotees assembled bow to Her and She pretends to cut off their heads with the giant sword She carries (along with a long trident). Made me a little jealous. I often say "Bring down your sword" to Amma in Malayalam when I go for darshan. Once She stuck out Her tongue at me! Whoo-hoo! I was on top of the world!! Can't get enough of that Kali Ma!!! love, Prajna --- <jpm333_bc wrote: > Namah Shviaya, > > A coworker relayed a dream, which seemed to be more > than a dream.
