Namah Shivaya,

I am in LOVE with this chant!!! It totally blows me away!!! WHERE can I

get the words? I played it this morning for my son (he's 20) and he

started smiling and laughing. I'm going to get him to Amma eventually!

I told him he needs a HUG. We were both laughing so hard!

So can anyone help me on this? I understand this beautiful song is

chanted each day at Amma's Ashram. I am not sure if I love this more or

the Guru Stotram. What a problem lol!

thanks so much,

love

adriane

Which version are you listening to? Have you heard the

new "Heavy Metal" version sung by one of the devotees?

(The CD was on sale during this summer tour) It is

High energy too just like the one that Amma sings in

the Chants CD. The group performed live during the

Devi Bhava night in LA.

There's a DVD of Amma and the gang singing this song at the 2004 Santa Fe

retreat. I have a copy of it. I presume Mother's Books would have it.

Namah Shivaya,

I love this chant also. So is my son. There is a recording of the chant

sung by Amma in Alburquerque last summer. . It was wonderful to be there!

It is on DVD.

For your 20 year old son. There is also a new recording of the Stotram in a

totally different version. I heard it for the first time in LA this summer

and it was different , unsual but fun. It made everybody! dance. It is a

rock version and maybe your son will like it. My does very much.

After I heard the son in LA I talked to some indians friends and only a few

had mix feelings of that version. This is sacred chant and some of them

didn't approved the solo guitar. However, most of the people I asked were

glad of this unusual version. It is on CD called "J and Friends".

Me and my son fall in love with the chant. I heard for the first time in

India and it blow me away. I was doing archana with more than a hundred

devotees and at the end they all started singing this chant.

My son and I listen to this chant quite often but the original one sung by

Amma. Sometimes he will ask for the rock version and we rock on with Amma

:)

I'm sorry if someone has already mentioned this, but on what Amma CD

can we find Amma singing this stotram? (I went back through the

thread, but didn't find this mentioned.)

Thanks for any info!

Namah Shivayah

It is on the Chants CD, which came out last year (I believe).

The cover is really beautiful; it has a picture of Mother praying on

it!
