Guest guest
--- balakrishnan Shankar <balakrishnan_sh > I am sorry to sound so harsh, but Krishna asked > Arjuna to kill the kauravas, not pray for them. Dearest Bala, Yes, but you are forgetting a crucial point in the story; that every other possible method of resolution was tried by the Pandavas before it came down to a battle. It was only when it became completely clear that the Kauravas had not a speck of integrity and honor that the noble Pandavas took up arms against their kinsmen. It's so hard to understand what would motivate one, or many, to attack a great ambassador of love like Amma, or Ghandi, or Martin Luther King Jr., but the fact is that it has happened and it does happen and it will happen again. Remember Amma's teaching: THERE IS NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CREATOR AND CREATION. That means that not only is that man our brother, he is our Amma herself. In fact, he is our very own Self. So it's good to express the feelings that are coming up, the anger, confusion, sadness, the fear. But if we think that Amma might be sitting in India right now doing anything less than loving him with all Her heart and soul then we are sorely missing the point. Lets not lose sight of the Guru's teachings. Before we go riding out to the battlefield lets keep in mind what the Gita is really teaching; that there is a kurukshetra in each of us, and if we choose to fight on the side of dharma we have to fight with love. Because this is all maya anyway, it's Ma's leela. "Fearlessness, purity of heart, persistence in the yoga of knowledge, generosity, self control, nonviolence, gentleness, candor, integrity, disengagement, joy in the study of scriptures, compassion for all beings, modesty, patience, a tranquil mind, dignity, kindness, courage, a benevolent, loving heart- these are the qualities of men born with divine traits, Arjuna." -Bhagavad Gita love, Prajna p.s. yeah, I'm mad too.... __ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs
