Guest guest
namaste linda, actually my reply was to someone's elses post not yours ~ i thought ~ the confusion arises because even Karunamayi's various booklets are not consistent ~ for instant the first word is spelled "tryambakam" on one of Her booklets but actually She sings it as "trayambakam" very clearly ~ as is written on Her website( http://www.karunamayi.org/karuna2j.htm ) ~ this was the main reason for my reply ~ going to Karunamayi's website I though would clear it up I learned this chant from both Karunamayi and from Shree Maa. So, sometimes I sing "bandhanAt" and sometimes "bandhanAn" ~ I don't try to control it ~ it just come out one way or the other ~ perhaps it was not clear that either option is OK ~ as are many of the other options I found on the web I am not a perfectionist( I hope ) nor an expert in this ~ just trying to help by giving a clear cut reference Sorry if I added to the confusion ~ So, let's not worry and chant as best we can for Snehalata's Highest Good. May Amma Bless All of Us, amarnath Ammachi, nierika@a... wrote: > > Amarnath wrote: > > Re: Chant Sri Mruthyunjaya Mantra f or Dixie (Snehalata) > > from http://www.karunamayi.org/karuna2j.htm with slight correction > via her booklet > > OM trayambakam yajAmahe sugandhim pushti vardhanam > urvAruka miva bandhanAt mrutyor mukshIya mAmrutat(e) > > > > Dear Amarnath ~ I have heard Karunamyi's beautiful pronunciation via a tape > where she sings this mantra over and over, and indeed, she does say Bandhanat. > The version I posted was from Swami Satyananda Saraswati at the Devi Mandir > in Californial.
