Our sister Iswari is safe and sound at Amritapuri. It sounds like

she's having a great stay thus far.

Just thought I'd share... :)

With love,

Erica

Indeed, I am safe and sound at Amritapuri...in the computer room above

the temple, listening to the bhajans coming from the hall where Amma

is giving Devi Bhava darshan for the first time in something like a

year! Prashanti, in case you're wondering, she's wearing a brilliant

green sari! It was so intense, seeing her there when the temple doors

opened! People here don't see her so much as the "hugging saint," but

as Devi herself and it's humbling to be among such powerful devotion.

Some difficult stuff came up for me when I first arrived, and part of

me just wanted to get on the first plane home and go back to my

regular life. Of course, I didn't do that, and of course, that

overwhelming urge passed after I got settled in! Even though there are

hard things about being here...it's amazing! I've had so many

beautiful experiences and connected with so many wonderful people (and

re-connected with some old friends from NYC, who live here now). I am

completely mesmerized by the Arabian sea, which I like to watch from

the balcony toward the front of my building at sunset. I remember

reading about Amma having visions of [Devi? Krishna?] along the sea,

and it's so easy to see. There's something deep and powerful there...

Okay, off to help my friend do some stuff for the flea market, and

then back to spend some time with Amma in the darshan hall...

Blessings to all!

Iswari
