ICU (Intensive Care Unit) DOCTORS USUALLY SEVERELY RESTRICT ENTRY OF EVEN FAMILY IN ICU. Dear GeorgeSon ~ you are correct about this. When my father was in intensive care, following triple bypass surgery, my sister and I were the only ones allowed to visit him. He was barely lucid and unable to do anything, even talk. I suggest the we, as a group, as a part of our weekly Prayer Group do something extra on behalf of Dixie. If our normal Prayer Group practice is to say our Amma mantra, then perhaps we can add a mala of the mahamrytumjaya mantra, or some other mantra of our choosing. Today, I was reading about Hunuman and read that he was the one to go to for health issues. I looked up the Hanuman Chalisa online, found the transliteration, along with the English meaning, and printed it out. Before I took my nap, I recited the Chalisa as an offering for the betterment of Dixie's health. We may not, at this time, be able to have direct contact with her, yet what is more direct than prayer? Jai Jai Ma ~ Linda P.S. If anyone wants the link to the Hanuman Chalisa, let me know.
