Dear jaiamma ~ I have come to LOVE Krishna Das. I heard him "perform" kirtan

a few years ago at a seminar, and I was "hooked." Do you know that at the

end of "River of Love," the documentary movie about Amma's life, Krishan Das is

singing ~ so beautiful. Also, when I lived in Maryland, where there were many

(east) Indian stores, I compiled a collection of bhajans by various artists.

I loved them all, especially the chalisas, but unfortunately, when I was

moving my trailer from Oregon to New Mexico, I got hit by a blizzard, a tire

blew out and blew a hole in my trailer, and a box of tapes (bhajan and

contemporary) was completely ruined. But if you have an Indian store near you,

you

might check it out.

Hi Linda, Krishna Das is great. I've seen him live twice in northern VA and

the energy he creates with the audience is very uplifting and joyful.

Something about his music and energy gives me the feeling that everyone in

the audience is part of my extended and beloved family. I want to invite all

of them home for veggie burgers, decaf chai and Amma videos! ( smile ) Jai
