Guest guest
Om Namah Shivayah I was told that your mantra from Amma is just as powerful (if not MORE powerful) than any other mantra out there. Amma has chosen it specifically for each person (as shown by several stories here) to help with their own advancement and all. I know that people say if the Gayatri mantra is not chanted absolutely correctly, that it can do the opposite effect on us because of the energies each syllable raises, etc. However, if that is true, then why is it not true for our own individual mantras? Or, does Amma ensure we get a mantra we are capable of chanting? Just wondering... With love, Erica
Guest guest
Who can say? There are so many different opinions on the subject. If you have a mantra from Amma, just chant it as you were instructed. Only good can come from it. - Erica Ammachi Friday, August 19, 2005 3:10 PM Re: To yogaman, mahamuni on mantra Om Namah Shivayah I was told that your mantra from Amma is just as powerful (if not MORE powerful) than any other mantra out there.
