Another Amma Dream

I had a second dream in the past month of Ammachi last night. I was in India

with a group (maybe a school group), and it was our last day, and we were in

Kerala. I was desperate to seek out Amma's ashram, and wandered into town to

ask someone. But everyone I saw was wearing big crosses and were talking

about how great Jesus was, so I shied away from them, since I figured they

wouldn't know. And before I could ask one of the people there, a terrible

hurricane-type thing blew in. It was smashing in windows and the downpour was

horren

dous.

Somehow, I had been granted the ability to make objects (and myself)

hover and move simply by willing it very strongly. So I willed myself to sort

of

run/fly through the storm and I made it out. Found my way to a red-sand

desert that I knew the ashram was in. So I wandered all around, getting

desperate

because of time and I found my way to an ashram. But it was of this elderly

white woman and it was more like a temple/giftshop/ashram all in one.

And I was thinking "this isn't what I want! I want Amma!" and someone

was mentioning how this guru has her diciples take extensive vows of silence

and that made me even more wary, though the back of my mind was telling me to

trust Amma, and if this is what she wills, then so be it. I could see the

elderly woman as an Avatar of Devi as well, so that wasn't the problem. I found

a

stick of black soot or chalkish type stuff on a counter while I was waiting

for her and I drew a talik on my brow since I had just had darshan with the

small alter in the place.

Then she came in, all smiles and greeted me warmly and said "I'm so glad

you're here! I just got off the phone with Amma, such a wonderful woman, and

she assured me that she had sent someone to help me out a bit. And here you

are, straight from her, like an obediant child! You won't be here too long, I

just need help with a few things around here since I'm getting older..." and

that was about where the dream trailed off, along with a slight sense of

wonder. lol Feedback would be nice, as usual. =) Jai ma!

Namaste Katie,

This is not fact or truth, only my opinion, use what you will and discard the

rest.

A school would imply learning, life is a school, and all around you are lessons.

Everyone is wearing a cross or crucifix and talking of Jesus, you were hesitant,

you are judging, what you're judging I do not know, yourself, a situation,

others, try not to assume or judge. You have to find out what is happening in

your waking life. A terrible hurricane comes, self destruction. Meditate and

find the eye of the storm, your center. It was smashing windows, "windows of

opportunity"? Your ability to see beyond any given situation? Your limiting your

vision. You were graced with the ability to run through the storm, which is true

in waking life as well, Amma is there to help you. You found a red-sand desert,

signifying that you need to refine, reflect and retreat. Red is the life force,

energy or could mean danger or warning. Perhaps you need to slow down and

balance. You found your way to an elderly white woman (your wise self, teacher

or spiritual guide) in a "gift" shop. Temple is inner

your inner sanctum. A stick of black soot or Ash, are you destroying something

within? or without? Your "Higher Self" then says that she talked to God (Amma)

your "Higher Self" admits that she needed some help, from YOU sense she is

getting older. Are you neglecting your Higher Self? Are your nurturing your

spiritual self? Also the fact that the elderly lady is speaking with Amma and

not you yourself implies to me that you need to take that vow of silence and

reflect within. Learn how to communicate and commit to the Divine. Hope this

helps in someway.
