Earlier in this incarnation life was directed toward being

anti-conventional. I still abhor group-think mindlessness.

Here is where the mind shows its sinister subtlety. Relating to Amma is NOT

analogous to a male female relationship.

IT IS NOT A SPLIT UP

NOR IS IT TECHNICALLY ANY KIND OF SEPARATION ISSUE.

....To lose a spouse or a romantic partner is terrible. Far more onerous is

to be like a dog chasing its tail. Round and around we go though the tail is

not separate from us.

Amma cannot leave us because She is us.

Dear George ~ how right you are. The Guru is Everything, Everything. I hope

you have not totally given up being non-conventional. As an artist, I have

always been unconventional, the proverbial "outsider," yet this does not detract

an iota from my spiritual seeking or practice or choosing a guru. I truly

believe that the guru, in our case, Amma, does not want us to become mindless

robotic followers. She wants us to discover our true Self, which is Her, which

is the Supreme. Pranams ~ Linda
