Thong Minh-

You very bad monk! I'm looking for the version that is chanted rather

than sung. Is it the same version and I'm just tone-deaf or are there

a couple of versions? I've been in a group where it's been chanted in

more of a monotone.

Bhakti and Shakti,

Davey Bhava

[[You're right! ( smile ) I revel in my monastic ineptitude... They still

have a picture of me up at the temple as a warning to the new monks. But

Amma once whispered in my ear that She loves Her naughty children the most

(and She REALLY loves me...!)

[[Over the years I can recall only hearing one version of the Sloka melody,

whether at satsangs, Amma programs or on the CD. Its always chanted with the

same melody. Some people emphasize the melody more or less. I've never heard

it chanted without the melody. Hope this helps! Jai Ma, -Advait]]
