Guest guest
On the topic of visiting surrogate gurus: Good Morning Bro & Sister (and silent ones (and lurkers)who rarely speak or hide behind a pseudo name, not revealing there whereabouts or true identity), I am really confused as to why the debate continues that any of us know what class of "Guru" any soul presents ? Amma sets an example by not discriminating who she hugs and she encourages us to focus on a path.......so why not stop on the path to hug other souls (with compassion) but stay on the path we feel most strongly drawn to from each of our own hearts. Simply ask Amma or follow Amma or Vedic texts, as Rick has mentioned below, when determining if one would be "tainted" with the company of other master teachers. Are we actually choosing our daily companions with such Touche' to Bala and Rick, who seem to keep a steady and unprejudiced point of view while distilling Amma's teachings.......and they keep the drama out of their messages. May we consider a new topic like "the definition of love and the traits that define a loving person".........and how to attain this state. Please consider this a discussion not a debate. I personally am unsure how to discriminate btwn those who are loving and those who appear to be loving (killing with kindness types). Attempting to eliminate drama in my life.....and cut through the BS. Blessings, Om Namah Shivaya, amritavarshini (Indiana) P.S. I encourage the silent ones to add to the discussion of love.....
