Guest guest
Blessed Soul GeorgeSon, You have hit your arrow of words directly into this child's heart. I am one that CRIES and CRIES after separation from Amma after Devi Bhava. I cry like a toddler cries at the door when mom leaves him with a new and strange babysitter. I have had complete strangers come up to me and ask if I was okay, did I want a chair, "It's okay; she'll be back in November!", etc. I am embarassed by how sad and weepy I tend to get. I think that your insight on this is amazing, GeorgeSon. When Amma leaves we are sad because we realize we are losing (have lost?) our true selves. Wow. Perhaps it is not actually AMMA that we miss, but rather the focus that we all tend to have on the internal when we are around Her...the feeling that we get when we are around Her because of this focus... Someone once told me that the Guru is like a lightswitch. Without the lightswitch, how could we utilize the lightbulb? Without the lightbulb, how could we use the lightswitch?
