Dear Nirmala:

Thank you for your point of view. Your reasoning on this is impeccable. :

"I really feel that if you wish to see another saint or attend

another satsang, or meditation classes,... and you have these

doubts as to whether it's proper or not, you should ask Amma

about it during Her November programs, and She will give you

advice that is right for you."

Ask Amma? Will do.

When Sri Sarada Devi was in the body (and Ramakrishna left the body) Sri

Ramakrishna's great disciples like Swami Vivekananada and Swami Shivananada were

also in the body. The Swamis were in all likelihood fully Realized Jiva-Atmans

at this time.

When they had a problem that confused them they went to their Holy Mother for

the final word. Swami Viviekananda called Sri Sarada Devi the Supreme Court.

To their amazement Sarada Devi was inevitably correct. Her advice involved both

the spiritual as well as the mundane day to day Ashram matters.

Our Holy Mother is now in the body. Sri Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi advises

AIMs Doctors on the running of Her medical facilities. Scientists go to the

grade school educated (Divine Mother Incarnate) for technical advice and She

amazes them. Carpenters are given tips on building technique that are beyond

their knowledge base.

Amma can answer these because She is one with substratum behind all these

facades.

Additionally Nirmala, I agree with your suggestion that each devotee may get a

different instruction. Amma may tell Child A to NOT see another Saint because

She is aware of the particularities manifest in Child A's temperament,

discernment and detachment.

Another of Her children (Call him Child B) may be able to benefit from the

Darshan of another Saint because he will not leave Her no matter what Siddhis

are displayed..

Each child in a mothers household is a little different. Some children can

digest curry while others need to stay on milk due to their constitution.

With Love,
