Here it is : Every night after my prayers ... I bow down to Amma's pics I have with me ... and I have been basically requesting her ... something like ... "Please show me your Kali form" ... the very first day ... as soon as I finished uttering those words and came and sat in front of my computer ... amma's screensaver with her dressed up for devi bhava showed up!! Well ... I thought to myself ... I did not mean this mild photographic form of kali ... LOL ... then last night at around midnight ... just past midnight ... I was awakened ... then on my screen was another of ammas devi form ... but then the whole apartment was smoky and had a strange odour to it ... then I realized that at around 10PM I had put the rice to boil ... so that I could take it for lunch tomorrow ... then I was on the phone and then fell asleep!! LuckilY I was awakaned otherwise only amma knows what would have happened ... I quickly turned off the stove and opened all the ventillations ... surprisingly even the smoke alarm hadnt gone off ... which usually gets ticked off by the slightest of smokes ... strange! Incidentally, the vedic day is measured from sunrise to sunrise and is divided into 4 parts called as Gayatris. The time around 6AM or Sunrise is called as Brahma Gayatri, Noon is Vishnu Gayatri, Sunset is Shiva Gayatri and Midnight is Kali Gayatri!!! And it was around midnight, I got the rude awakening ...
