Hi, Namah Shivaya,

You know, it's funny you ask this today because I am just in the

process of setting up a for NY area devotees. Stay tuned

and I will post a link! Hello to everyone on the list who seems

familiar- I lurk here every day while at my job, and it does indeed

feel like a cyber-satsang.

Hi,

You can go to this link to find out more about the various New York

area satsangs plus contact phone numbers:

http://www.ammany.org/index.htm

And I've just created a new group for all of those who live in the

New York area to connect to each other. It's brand new, so there is

only one member so far but let's see if it grows...

Hope this helps!

Incidentally, if you call the main number listed on the AmmaNY website, you will

likely get

a return phone call from me! Except not in the next few weeks, while I'm in

India...

Mike, so far there is only one small IAM meditation group in NYC (well, there

may be

individuals who practice together privately, but there is only one that is

publicized). It's in

Fresh Meadows on Wednesdays at 8pm at the Seed of Life Center, 69-19 197th

Street.

If you have any questions, Gaurish's contact information is available on the

info line. Call

to confirm before you go, because sometimes he has to go out of town for work

and such.

Namah Shivaya,

Iswari

Hi Mike,

I don't know if there is a group of people in New York specifically

getting together to practice IAM, if that's what you mean. The

various satsangs in NYC are listed on the website, and you would

definitely find out more at one of those.

I have heard that Swami Ramakrishnanda is coming in October sometime

(dates yet to be confirmed) and perhaps he will put on a refresher

course. Stay tuned.

Angela.

As of now, there is only one (small) formal IAM practice group in NY (see

previous

message). Ramakrishnananda Swami has never taught IAM here, but I've heard talk

about

another IAM training in the area sometime in the fall, though I don't think

dates are set.

Please keep checking the website or the info line (212-714-5445). Also, if you

haven't

already, please sign up for the NY Satsang e-announcement list on the website.

Whenever

a course is scheduled, they will certainly be sending out a message about that!

=)

my sincere thanks,

As of now, there is only one (small) formal IAM practice group in NY (see

previous

message). Ramakrishnananda Swami has never taught IAM here, but I've heard talk

about

another IAM training in the area sometime in the fall, though I don't think

dates are set.

Please keep checking the website or the info line (212-714-5445). Also, if you

haven't

already, please sign up for the NY Satsang e-announcement list on the website.

Whenever

a course is scheduled, they will certainly be sending out a message about that!

=)

Namah Shivaya,

Iswari
