Guest guest Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 lol, when I told my best friend of my eventual want to go to Amritapuri, he freaked out and was lamenting that he'd lose all contact with me. For some reason he got it into his head that all monestaries and ashrams are back in the stone age with no running water, no electricity, no phones, no computers, and that if I went, I'd not be allowed to use them. lol I wasn't aware though, that you are able to take a laptop along on your stay in Amritapuri and can use it when you have time amongst the schedule. =) Definitely good news for my friend, if I ever get to go.
