Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA i am new here so please excuse any stupid questions. but i don't understand why we would focus on the "tracks ahead" as said in your post. this has always been a weakness of mine(one of many). and to continue with the train anology, the tracks ahead or behind, to focus on either seems like a waste of time. after all we aren't even driving the train! we are just passengers. She is the driver. one thing Amma once said that i always remembered(one of many) is, we may exhale never to inhale again. doesn't that apply here also? Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, I am new here, too! At least I think I am. I don't know the days of membership to be able to say that...lol... I think that Amma has given us techniques such as the IAM program to focus within and forget the tracks altogether! lol...Ms Worry here of course, is not perfect at this by any means. As Amma told me not to worry, She is always with me. I am reminded that worry it about something that has not happened or if it has, I cannot change anyway. Someone wrote to me how the bramacharis do not even do pujas for themselves, instead seeing all events as prasad. How beautiful and full of surrender is THAT?! Whew! I think (therefore I'm NOT!)... LOL..couldn't pass up the old saying here..always looking for the joke)...I believe the golden key is to empty the mind. The writing as on the Path of the Mother, the IAM technique, getting mantra from Amma-all these things are to purify the mind, to empty it and simply be in the moment, to become the experience of being. No small feet. lol in devotion to Amma, Adriane Ammachi, "ecjensen_us" <ecjensen_us> wrote: > OM NAMAH SIVAYA > > i am new here so please excuse any stupid questions. but i don't > understand why we would focus on the "tracks ahead" as said in your > post. this has always been a weakness of mine(one of many). and to > continue with the train anology, the tracks ahead or behind, to > focus on either seems like a waste of time. after all we aren't > even driving the train! we are just passengers.
