Healing Experience

I recently posted this story to the Amma's Children blog and thought

you all would like to hear it.

 

I recently moved into a new home and, unbeknownst to me, there was

black mold filling the air conditioning unit. Because the drain was

clogged, water had pooled up in the unit. At the time, I was having

problems with allergies and had had two sinus infections in 5 months

though I didn't know at the time what was the cause. The second sinus

infection which caused the typical pain and pressure in my sinuses

turned into a sinus migraine one evening. I had never had a migraine

before and was in terrible pain. I felt as though someone had kicked

me in the head, face, and teeth repeatedly. I was extremely

uncomfortable and became afraid and somewhat desperate as I did not

have health insurance. I tried a hot compress and then a hot shower

but neither of them had any affect on the pain. I sat in the shower

and began praying to Amma very one-pointedly as I could only think

about the pain and Amma - my mind couldn't occupy anything else. I

repeated Om Amriteshvaryai Namaha about five times very intensely and

fervently. Within seconds of beginning the chant, I felt a feminine

presence come to me and pull the pain out of my head. It was as if a

hand reached out of nowhere and drew the pain out. I am a skeptical

person by nature, but this experience was very convincing for me. I

had been in some of the worst pain I had ever experienced and within

seconds the pain had left without a trace.
