Blessed soul dear Jyotsna~

You are like a big sister to us all -- with all of that wisdom and

cool-headedness you embody.

Looking forward to seeing you in November.

Dear Erica,

Well, golly! Thank you for the exceedingly kind words. I'm just Amma's

little girl.

Of course I will be frequently chanting my mantra as the train chugs

onward--and keeping my mind on the darling Engineer with the

black bun! I can imagine Swamiji as the fireman shoveling coal!

(I like this train analogy! I can also just see Amma up in the engine

laughing hard as the train goes through tunnels, passes forest fires

beside the tracks, screams around hairpin curves, and roars over

breathtakingly high trestles. Whew! This timid traveler may

keep her eyes shut tight as she chants the mantra!)

Just Amma's little girl,

Jyotsna

What a visual image! You make Amma traveling through life with its ups

and downs, its scary parts and its fun parts so REAL. And I love the

image of Swamiji shoveling coal to keep the train going. What a pair

they make!

When Amma repeated daughter, daughter, daughter, daughter in my ear at

Darshan in LA, I was filled with bliss. It is so wonderful to realize

that we are Her Children and we can "let" Her be in charge (the

Engineer of the train of life). We can stop pretending that we are

adults and running our own lives! We are all Her babies. All we have

to do is rest in Her Arms.
