Just leave it and don't worry about it."The lotus plant takes root in the filth of the pond and the lovely blooms are in fact, born from that dirt. Likewise the beauty of the Self too, has to rise from the mind. In course of time, it rises and blooms far above the negativities and filth of the mind. And so don't worry, it is not a problem." Guest guest
Dear Iswari: The quote I posted down below was issued by this weeks San Francisco Satsang. The deeper meaning has not sunk in yet. On a feeling level I feel relieved too. I spend a lot of energy beating myself up over my impure thought process. It would be better if I segregated my thoughts from the TRUE ME. In essence I am not my thoughts. What is a thought? Can anyone describe a thought to a metaphysical certainty? What does a thought weigh? What is a thought made of? If you analyze like this the answer seems to be a thought is non- existant. Brahman the Self alone is Real. Thought is unreal. So Amma implies, Why Worry. In any event I humbly repeat I AM NOT MY THOUGHTS.
