Guest guest
Om Namah Shivayah! I recently posted this on AmmasChildren.com, but would like to share it with the group as well. I think it's important to share these stories of Amma's grace, because it can help those going through difficult times and praying to Amma realize that Amma does indeed hear our prayers and answer them. Since we are all in these human bodies, it can be difficult for some to have hope in difficult times, or even realize that Amma IS hearing you. I know, at least for me, when I read these stories of Amma's grace and little miracles, it helps build my faith stronger and stronger and I become less prone to worrying about things in my life...because I know that the divine mother will sort it out as it should be. Here is the little experience I had yesterday. I have come to learn that Amma will respond to us, even if it is not a major issue or life challenge we are asking about. I hope any of you here in the group who have stories of Amma's grace that you would like to share...will visit AmmasChildren.com and post them in the Amazing Grace section. The site is building slowly but surely! Yesterday I was doing volunteer readings for a psychic arts day to raise funds for the sanctuary. As it was very slow in the beginning, without many visitors, I decided to take the time to recite my mantra. As I sat there reciting my mantra I was thinking intensely of Amma and also wondering if she knew that I was sitting there saying my mantra at that exact time. Just as I pondered this, a woman approached the table for a reading. Before I continue, I must make the point that this was a very small town in MA, and not very many people have any idea who Amma is, so I am always shocked when someone does. Well, this woman just happened to be wearing a mantra bracelet and one of Amma's bracelets. She asked me , looking at my necklace, "Is that Amma?" My shocked response was a dumbfounded, "You know who Amma is?" She then proceeded to tell me that she always tries to see Mother when Mother comes to town and that she also attends the retreats. What was most strange is that she wasn't really a devotee, and seemed very matter-of-fact about Mother. She said something to the effect of, "I really like being around her energy." So while she goes to the retreats and all, she didn't seem to consider herself a devotee, so she didn't seem particularly open to engage in further conversation, nor was she as shocked and excited as I was to find that I was connected to Amma as well. I see that Amma perfectly orchestrated this scenario in response to my question. I had asked if she knew I was doing my mantra just then so she sent someone to my table at that exact moment wearing a MANTRA BRACELET and talking about Amma. My first reading of the day, and I really was able to help this woman in her life...so Amma brought us both together for individual reasons. I thought that was a miracle enough, until later in the day I had no visitors again and went back to reciting my mantra. Suddenly, I had the spontaneous thought that I wished Amma would send me a client whom I could help in a very deep way rather than just offer consultation about relationships, career and such. As soon as I thought this, a woman approached my table, looked at my necklace and said "Is that a picture of you or Ammachi?" I sat there jaw-dropped. This particular client had some very deep karmic and life and death issues she was dealing with, and I was able to help her in a very profound way. One of the more emotional readings I had in months. I spent most of the evening talking to Ashwati and repeating myself with such things as, "How is this possible? It's not like this is San Francisco where many know of Amma? How can she be so omnipresent as to orchestrate these things? How can I be doing readings in a little farm town essentially in the middle of nowhere and have this happen?" And my request being answered did not end there. From last night and straight through the day so far today, I have gotten at least four "emergency calls" from either current clients or people I have never seen who desperately are seeking my advice regarding very big matters in their lives. Just a moment ago I got a phone call from someone who is desperately seeking advice on helping their horse who is dying. While, I of course get emergency cases from time to time...never do I get this influx of them in a matter of a day. I had wished that Mother would send me clients I could help in a very deep way on grand scale issues....and presto! Will I ever cease to be amazed????!!!!! Jai Ma!!!
