Guest guest
Greetings to all Amma's children, I have been a member for a while, and have never posted here I am really not one to post much. I work, have a family, and don't have the time to post on the groups I belong to, much less be totally active in all of them. I do try and take the time on the weekends to sift through the wonderful posts that people have written and glean from the wisdom that everyone shares so freely. I feel very blessed. I live in Duluth Minnesota. (I know of only one other person here who goes to see Amma when she is in the USA. We had a wonderful meeting when we did realize we had Amma in common.) I am an English teacher, Reiki M/T, & small business owner. I saw Amma last summer in Fairfield for the first time. What a life changing event that was. She truly is the Divine Mother in the flesh. I then attended the IAM Meditation, which also is a life changing meditation. Thanks to the Divine Mother for such a simple & subtle tool for transformation. This summer I could not wait to see Amma. I was beside myself with excitement to see her when she arrived at the 10:00 program. I had been praying all year to Amma for a spiritual name. Well, to cut a long story short, I had the honor of receiving a name from Mother. I had been praying all year for that fabulous gift. Amma saw right into my heart and gifted me with the name Chaitanya. I can't even express how full my heart is when I think about the whole experience. It was truly amazing. It was so wonderful to see familiar faces while in Iowa. Awaken Children vol. IX, is a great book to read. I have inhaled its contents, & begun reading it all over again. I also have a couple others that I am reading as devotionals. Thank you to all those who post, I value your insight, humor, & all around good nature.
