Namah Shivaya Ananthasree,

Your feelings are so understandable, since Amma says that the love between Guru

& disciple, is the greatest love of all. I identify with your feelings about

the things around you, no longer having meaning. When I returned to the U.S.

from a short stay in India with Amma, I was amazed at how I felt. Probably for

the first time, I understood what was meant by seeing our attachments as

burdens.

Although I can cry & feel desparate after Amma leaves, I think that the feeling

of losing Her can motivate me to find Amma within myself. When we reach out to

Amma, She does move closer to us. As Linda suggsted, seva is a good way to feel

Amma. Guru seva is the highest form of seva. Recently, something was posted

on-line that said that when we do actions with our hearts filled with love, then

our actions become an offering to the Guru.

Also, chanting Amma's 108 names in Sanskrit, can help us feel very close to

Amma. Or, you can listen to them while silently reading along & imagine you're

offering a white flower from your heart to Amma's feet, with each line.

Writing letters to Amma, even if never sent, is another way to feel closer to

Amma. Amma says that each time Her children think of Her, She see's our faces.

With love,

Sweta
