Guest guest
Has anybody heard from Snehalata lately? How is she? I'm here in DC with Amma. We had thunderstorms today. You could say that there was a thunder and lightning design motif in the Chicago area resort where we stayed. Change is on the way. Couldn't help thinking of Snehalata since via email I heard from another Circle of Love person who has had health struggles. Aikya
Guest guest
- Aikya Param Ammachi Thursday, July 14, 2005 1:33 AM How's Snehalata? Namaste, All! I'm here and I'm sorry I haven't kept in better touch. I read the posts daily and am touched by so many of them, but simply have not had the energy to reply as often as I'd like. An update.... My husband, Ron, is out of the hospital now and I could not have wished for a better two weeks (15 days, actually!) to have the energy to do what I needed to do. I was able to be at the hospital with Ron nearly around the clock and am delighted to tell you all that he is doing better...the strokes were pretty severe, but his speech is usually intelligble again, his right leg is in much better shape than we'd originally thought, and his right arm is coming along. He can't drive so I am taking him to speech and occupational rehab twice a week... and doing little more than preparing for the next round and resting afterwards. My own health is a bit of a muddle with new problems arising - severe anemia and what appears to be positional vertigo - BUT the lung doctor just did an evaluation Wednesday and, while some of the values remain essentially unchanged, others have improved: the doctor was astounded and actually allowed a glimmer of hope (not for long term survival, probably, but perhaps longer than he'd anticipated). Please, please everyone: take our prayer list seriously. The doctor had no explanation for the hint of improvement in my situation...but I do. I think Amma will help us move mountains if that's what needs to be done and I have no doubt whatsoever that She is with us under all circumstances and in all places. I felt so bad about not being able to see Her in Fairfield and, at one point, stood beside Ron's hospital bed and tried to prayfully explain to Mother how sad I was that I would not be in Her presence this year. I was rubbing Ron's back at the time and when I glanced down, I 'watched' my hands moving over his shoulders but understood as clearly as if She had spoken that Amma was there, too, guiding my hands. I don't have many 'visions' of Mother, so the sensation of Her in the motion of my hands was simply breath taking. Thank you all for such love and support...you are truly my family. With great love from your sisiter in Amma, Snehalata Has anybody heard from Snehalata lately? How is she? I'm here in DC with Amma. We had thunderstorms today. Guest guest
Snehalataji, You in the care of a power that is far greater than what any of us can even conceive; so not to worry, you are in good hands. In a way, Aikyaji is your unseen benefactor. Your time will improve after September, when Guru transits into Tula rashi, so hang on till then. Best wishes, -yogaman Ammachi, "Dixie Lou" <dixielou@s...> wrote: > > - > Aikya Param > Ammachi > Thursday, July 14, 2005 1:33 AM > How's Snehalata? > > Namaste, All! > I'm here and I'm sorry I haven't kept in better touch.
