Here it is: I was sitting at a desk, in a big room (very tall ceilings, marble floors, big furniture), working. There (were) a few papers and that's about it. I was looking down when a woman came up to me and handed me a book. She said, "I wrote this book."...The title was – very clearly – WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE? in really big capital letters...She told me that I should read the book. ....She replied with, "Does your job have any integrity?" "I do my job with as much integrity as possible." "But are you helping anyone?" she asked. I didn't respond. "You need to be a nurse. You need to move to India and be a nurse." I processed this, and thought of myself helping children who were in the hospital. "I…I…" "You need to move to India and become a nurse." "I…I…" Then I looked back down at the book and saw that the woman's picture was actually Amma this time. It sort of moved between showing the woman standing in front of me and Amma. I looked back up to say something to the woman and she was gone. Then I woke up. Dear Erica ~ I do believe that Amma comes to us in dreams. If you have an apportunity, perhaps you could ask Her (I can't remember if you have or are seeing Her during the tour) or write Her a letter (I think the address is on the Amritapuri website. If I'm wrong, I hope someone will correct me.) A few days ago, when I was reading the Amma email newsletter, I read of young women being trained at the various hospitals She has founded to be nurses. I thought, "Oh, if only I were well; I would go to India and offer myself to Mother's feet and ask to be trained to serve as a nurse." (Of course, if Amma had something else in mind, I would do that just as happily.) Have you ever thought of or been drawn to nursing? I really do think this is quite an incredible dream. Thank you for sharing it. Jai Ma ~ Linda P.S. Belos P.S. to the group: As initially, I started to collect stories of Amma/Kali that people were writing about, when people started sending in other experiences and stories, I felt compelled to save them also. I am still waiting until after the tour to write to Swami Dyamrita about it, or perhaps I will write to Amma. But I feel these should be shared with the larger community of Amma's children, whether through a book or through "Immortal Bliss" or some other way, I do not know, but I did want all of you to know I am now saving all the stories of experiences and dreams and such with Amma.
