It feels fine to share the following with everyone .... Very, very many years ago, I made some attempts to be a sincere follower of Christ. For a period of time, I would sing to God while driving alone, & although I didn't understand why, tears would just stream down my face....On repeated occasions I ended up saying 'Hrim' so often, that I distinctly recall wondering if it were an actual word in another language. After meeting Amma about 2-1/2 years ago, I learned of the syllable 'Hrim.' Bhajan book #1's English translation of "Hrim Kali" states, "O Goddess Kali identified with the sound 'Hrim.' Interestingly, last spring Amma's astrologer said my Ishta Deva is Kali. Even though I've seen our Amma, Kali Herself, I still want a vision of Kali! But, my closest experience was a dream. Well over a year ago, I was having some difficult interactions with a group of woman where I worked. Another coworker said they had a gang mentality! Anyway, one night I dreamed of a group of woman sitting around at work, & I think they were verbally attacking me behind my back. Then my little bronze colored Kali statue came to life, & started doing all sorts of defensive manuevers in front of me! It reminded me of a martial art. Next, I saw a HUGE tiger walking in, & I just knew that Devi was sitting on it. After that, I would sometimes visualize Kali defending me, & a gigantic tiger carrying Devi, when I wanted protection. Dear Sweta ~ what powerful experiences. It is amazing how I can visualize these as I am reading them. I have heard the same thing that you did ~ that a person shouldn't share experieces that they've had about Amma, especially those that are visionary. My only response to that is the proof is in the pudding ~ if people did not share, how would we have all these wonderful books like "Sacred Journey" and "Path of the Mother" and even the "Awaken Children" series of the "Immortal Bliss" magazine. These are resplendant with stories of Amma's Love, Her intercession for Her children, Her appearances to Her children, and many others...these stories are like prasad for us and for others. And Mother Herself blesses and oversees the creation of these many publications. Recently, I saw a wonderful picture of people at Amrituapuri putting together some of the publications or binding greeting cards into packs. I wished I could be sitting at that table helping them. A woman who I've had the good fortune to knowe, saw Amma in vision form, I believe a number of times, before she met Her, & also disembodied spirits & angels. She described some fantastic visions openly. She prayed, as I reacall it, wondering if anyone else on the planet had such experiences. She also transmits healings. A devotee in San Ramon experienced a spontaneous healing transimited through her. Anyway, then while driving down a street in Santa Cruz, she saw (3?) beings walk into a certain book store. She followed them to a section, where a book that had information about Amma, as I recall, fell off the shelf. At least once as we talked on the phone, she told me she was seeing Amma. She was pretty casual about relaying the beings she saw & what they said. Eventually, maybe we'll all have such heightened perceptions & feel so comforable with them. __ Start your day with - make it your home page http://www./r/hs
