Guest guest
Dear Devi's Daughter: Amma's conversations are almost universally in Her native language, Malayalam. The seven and one half year old boy spoke to Amma in this native tongue. Occasionally Amma will summon a Swami to bring a microphone. Amma will then direct a Swami or Brahmachari/Brahmacharini translate to English a live on-going dialogue. This is rare but a precious moment to looky loo devotees within the Hall. I feel that we are blessed that Amma's web team gives us access these dialogues for the ages on either Ammachi. org or Amritapuri.org. Here is the link to the Boy-Amma dialogue posted by Kenna. http://www.amma.org/tours/being-with-amma/summer-2005/dallas.html Namah Shivaya, GeorgeSon Sell on Auctions - No fees. Bid on great items. Guest guest
Dear Devi's Daughter: It seems impossible to tell based on the web report. Perhaps it is best we do not know. Amma cannot allow a 7 and one half year old to join Her ashram without the boys parents permission. According to Western Law eg U.S. Law the boy is not capable of making this kind of decision for himself. Amma also implies (I am reading between the lines here) that the boy is very idealistic at that age but will he be as innocent and pure as he approaches puberty? This struck a nerve with me because I became impure after age 12 or so. I went from a sweet boy to a full fledged demon. I hope this child gets divine protection. I hear a sweet man talking, no detectable signs of demonhood as far as I can tell and I think everyone else will agree with me. -yogaman
