To Erica on Swami's vision of Amma as Kali

Dear Erica ~ I guess Swami really did get whammed by that 30 foot vision of

Amma as Kali.

I see it in my minds eye ... kind of like this, as if it were a painting or

drawing...a bunch of transparent Amma's superimposed on one another, getting

taller and taller until finally She is as tall as the palm trees, a 30 foot

vision of Kali, the remover of the Ego. I think I have to do this drawing or

painting or whatever it will be because I see it so clearly.

 

On the other hand, I remember, from reading biographies about Amma, that, as

a young girl, she cried out, over and over again for Lord Krishna and Devi to

show themselves to Her. Eventually they did, but of course, you can't

compare a vision of sweet and lovely Krishna and beautiful Devi with that image

of

Kali. I'm trying to imagine how I would respond to seeing that. Maybe offer

my throat and say, "take this Ego, please." : )

 

I guess its the old "you've-got-to-be-careful-what-you-wish/ask-for." But I
