I approached Amma for Darshan on folded knees Friday 6/24/05 at the Hilton LAX.

Received an early Darshan token due to being randomly assigned 5:40 a.m.

Breakfast Preparation Seva.

 

The Pranam list consisted of those who e-mailed me privately to offer pranams at

Amma's Holy Feet.

 

Prior to going on the Darshan Line I mentally offered Pranams to Amma offering

the names one by one on the Pranam List.

 

While on the extremely long Darshan Line I had adequate time to Pray toward Amma

each and every entry on Linda's most recent Prayer List. This was prayed while

Amma was giving Darshan and I advanced at shorter and shorter distance.

 

Back in Oakland, someone emailed privately suggesting that I inform Amma's lap

assistant that I intend to give Amma the prayer list and have the

lap assistant tell Amma the purpose of the two lists. When I was cued to go

next for Darshan the lap assistant had her head completely turned away.

 

The point is that NO ONE TOLD AMMA what kind of list(s) these were. Amma

presumably does not read English.

 

I offered Amma a coconut as a personal offering. Amma took it quickly and

handed it to a Sevite on Her left side. Next I presented the Pranam List

followed by the Prayer List clipped in a 8 inch by 14 inch Manila office type

file folder.

 

Amma carefully read all the names on both lists. She did not seem to be in a

hurry.

Next the Beloved placed the open folder with the aforementioned names upon Her

forehead, handed it back to me and proceeded to give this un-worthy son darshan.

 

This is now the second time Amma has clearly blessed those of us on the Prayer

List. My birth Mother, Greta, is a new entry on the Prayer List.

 

Thank you all for allowing me to do the Seva. I was thrilled for the sufferers

on the List.

I come away convinced that no matter how much pain we may endure, Amma is with

us
