Guest guest
Namaste, dear brothers and sisters, Thank you so much for your prayers while my husband, Ron, has been in the hospital. The strokes turned out to be fairly massive - hit his speech, right hand, arm, leg, and foot, and affected his balance. He'll be in the hospital for another week or two, but I do think the prayers helped; from last Tuesday-Thursday, the doctors all thought the entire right side was going to be paralyzed. The right hand and arm are limp now, but nothing is paralyzed and today he moved a couple of fingers on the right hand. The oddest thing (unless, like me, nothing seems really odd to you anymore) is that I had asked everyone to pray that Amma would leave me here long enough to help Roin through this and not only has my health held, I have been able to walk the length of the hospital to the elevators, then 1/2 the length back to get to Ron's room and have been able to help him turn over, get up, etc - Ron was so sick that I ended up having to stay for 31 hours in one stretch and seem to be suffering no ill effects. The hospital has let me 'plug into' their oxygen the whole time - at no charge. That alone should make believers of us all!!! (-: I wish I had the energy to write more, but I am tired when I get home and still have animals to tend to here and regular household chores to finish. Please, though, know that I am truly, truly grateful for every prayer, well wish, and gesture - the love just keeps expanding, doesn't it? Always at Mother's lotus feet, Snehalata PS I won't be able to make it to Iowa after all. Rick and others, please share details when She arrives. We should continue to pray for both of you.
