Guest guest
Aum Namah Sivai, Here is a man named Pradeepkumar from Kerala now admitted at Amma's Hospital (Amrita Institute of Medical Science), Cochin. He is suffering from kidney failure. He is so poor that he can't afford the cost for renal transplantation surgery which will come around 3 Lakh Indian Rupees and Post Surgery expense of 12,000 INR. So please help him and forward this message to as much people you can. For more details please go to this URL. http://savepradeep.com/ Don't think that this is a fake case. This case appears to be genuine (i.e. this person does exist). But does Amma's hospital not offer free or highly subsidized treatment to those truly in need? Or only to tsunami victims? 312,000 rupees ain't exactly chump change. Keval
Guest guest
yes that's what I have heard too AIMS is not for the rich. It is a charitable institution. It caters to the poor and to subsidize the poor the rich are allowed treatment paying normal charges. Or has it changed? - Mike Brooker Ammachi Sunday, May 15, 2005 6:52 AM Re: Please Help to bring Pradeep back to life > Aum Namah Sivai, > > Here is a man named Pradeepkumar from Kerala now > admitted at Amma's > Hospital (Amrita Institute of Medical Science), > Cochin. Guest guest
Namah Shivaya, I forwarded the questions about AIMS to Br. Dayamrita. He wrote that he would look into this, & asked that I not send any money, since it could potentially be a scam. Sweta
Guest guest
Om Namah Shivaya: Dear Sweta: Contacting Sri Dayamirita was the intelligent choice. To my knowledge AIMS is either totally free or accepts (perhaps) nominal expenses. Why doesn't the alleged patients web site have some sort of endorsement by AIMS or Amritapuri? If this site is legitimate (possibilities exist) then would it not be more appropriate to donate to AIMS directly and add a proviso that the funds be directed to this gentleman. Many dire cases exist at AIMS as you all know. Please pray for all the patients at AIMS and other third world facilities.
