Please don't forget - any of us- that it is not ours to always know what is

in our own best interests. I abhor being sick and having an oxygen cannula

strung across my face every minute of every day - but I would not ask for the

burden of this to be removed. I am finding that good and bad aren't

absolutes and that there can be great peace in letting go. As Potak said,

there is

a certain lightness in just being that makes clutching sheer folly.

Dear Snehalata ~ As I mentioned earlier in another post, I am trying to stay

out of this thread, but I really appreciated everything you had to say,

especially since you were speaking from your own experience. So I will tell my

healing story.

By now most people on the digest know I am ill. I have Neuroendocrine Immune

Disorder, Fibromyalgia, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome. When I had my last

colonscopy, I had ulcerative colitis and severe gastritis. I have put myself on

the prayer list for this digest as well as another one. I have also prayed,

cried out to Amma, to God/dess, to my ancestors. And I have practiced positive

affirmations: "My body is healing." My recent colonoscopy showed that the

ulcerative colitis has completely healed. For this I thank all those who have

participated in the prayer group, Amma, and myself. I still have very severe

gastritis and chronic pain from the Fibromyalgia, but through another miracle,

the pain has been lessening, and I have had to take less pain medication over

the last month. Healing is possible, and yet, doesn't always happen, or

maybe, as in my case is incomplete or in process. I tell people I am on a

healing

journey. That is my story so far. Jai Ma ~ Linda
