Dear Robin ~ I have added these names to the prayer list, and I am so sorry.

There is so little that can be said to comfort. One cannot say, "I

understand," because, unless one has been through the same experience, one can

never

understand. From what I have learned about life and death, the soul does not

die. Baby Ann is watching over her parents. Some children come for just a

short time; sometimes it is so short as to seem meaningless, yet the presence of

this child does have meaning. Her 8 minutes of life were precious. The parents

must have their time to grieve and know that people who care are there for

them if they want to talk or even if they don't. In "Awaken Children" (#1) A

young man asked Amma: "Mother is their life after death?" She simply replied:"

Yes, there is...it is difficult to convince everyone about these things,

though it still remains a fact.

 

I would not suggest this for now, but later, some months from now, when the

parents have got over their initial shock, you might consider referring them

to John Edwards' book, "Life After Life," and there is also a DVD available,

which shows John "reading" people and passing on messages from their deceased

loved ones. I have watched him many times, and he knows things that he is

told by the deceased that no one could know or guess. You might also suggest

James Van Praagh's books, " Reaching to Heaven: a Spiritual Journey Through

Life

and Death," or Talking to Heaven: a Medium's Message of Life After

Death." I would not suggest these now, though, because the parents need to

grieve.

If you are close to them, pay attention to whether they talk about unusual

occurrances like lights going on and off, or sounds they can't explain, or

finding coins in odd place, or, if they have a pet, a pet acting like someone

is

there when they can't see anyone. These are all signs that the soul is

reaching out to comfort the loved ones and let them know they are okay. If you
