Guest guest
A very good friend of mine who is a preacher's wife and is very religious had tried for a couple of years to get pregnant. She finally succeeded over four months ago to conceive. Sadly last night she went into labor and delivered a baby girl weight 9 oz. She lived for 8 minutes and was named Ann after her husband's Aunt who died tragically in an accident. This was their first child. Their names are Cory and Kristin Wilert, I am asking you to please send all prayers to them and for tiny Ann. I am also hoping that someone can send me a passage from Amma of some kind comfort for them to lift them up and carry them through. I will be sending my condolences later tonight so please respond tonight if possible. Thank you all in advance. Cory has written this on their web site: Tuesday, May 03, 2005 I have gone before you to prepare a place for you... I wanted to actually sit down and write about our amazing experience to the St. Louis Cardinals game a week or so ago, and then I put that aside to write about the Kitson's going to their call destination of Riesel, Texas, but in the midst of it all, I am here writing about a misfortunate and probably unexplainable event. As you see below this post is a picture of our baby who lived on this earth about eight minutes, just long enough to hear those words, "Ann, I baptize you in the name of the Father, in the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit." She was a beautiful little girl weighing about 9 ounces and as long as 9 inches. We held her all night and spent as much time with her as we could under the circumstances. It was and still is a very difficult for us at this point, but we are praying that we can get through this. So we grieve in what is to us a shock. A wise man once said, "Death is life's rude reminder that we are not in control." God has a plan in all this, and that plan is far reaching past our comprehension at this point, but some day we will understand. As for now, we believe in God, a God who will be by our side through this whole event. Ann was and is nothing but a joy in our lives and hearts. We named her Ann after my aunt, Ann Louise, who died tragically so many years ago. Our Ann died on May 2nd, 2005, just seven years to the date that my grandfather Thomas Vincent died. Please keep us in your prayers. Cory
