Elaborate arrangements have been made for the three-day long visit of Mata Amritanandamayi who will arrive here on Saturday to perform the Prathishta (installation of deities) rituals at the Brahmastana Temple at Ayyanthole on the outskirts of the city. According to the organisers, Mata Amritanandamayi will also give darsan to the devotees and tens of thousands of devotees are expected to arrive here from various parts of the State and outside each day for seeing and taking blessings from her. They said this is 18th Barahmastana Temple of the Amritanandamayi Math, and the second one in Thrissur. The first Brahmastana Temple was also set up in Thrissur in district in Kodungallur. Out of the 17 existing temples one is in Mauritius and the remaining ones are in different parts of the country. The Thazhikakkudam of the temple will be installed tomorrow morning while the deities will be installed on Sunday morning. Mata Amritanandamayi will give darsan to devotees on the all the three days from 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Speaker, Therambil Ramakrishnan, will hand over the keys of the Amrtiha Kuteeram houses constructed by the Amritanandamayi Madhom in the district tomorrow evening at a function to be attended by Mata Amritanandamayi.
