Dear Umesh ~ your questions and the Terry Sheibo case bring to the fore how important it is for people to have a Living Will, so that their intentions will be known as to what they want, should they be in a persistent vegetative state. I agree that, with advances in science, we can keep life going on indefinitely, and I have wondered, what of the soul? Is the soul stuck with the body, or does the soul move on, even before the end. But all of this furor has made it very clear to me that I must get a Living Will so that none of my loved ones will ever be in this situation.
