Guest guest
OM! Dannion Brinkley, hospice worker and founder of Compassion in Action (an organization created so people don't have to die alone), has asked for feedback regarding the issue of euthanasia because in his line of work that comes up a lot. I am trying to find some good answers for him. Has Amma said anything about euthanasia? Thank you.
Guest guest
In one of the magazines Amritapuri publishes, there is a story about a man who calls the ashram, & I think asks for a message to be delivered to Amma, since his dog is very sick. From what I remember, Amma said to let the vet make the decision about euthanizing the dog, but added that killing is not Her way. Amma instructed the man to rub vibhuthi on the dog, & he soon experienced a natural death. You could e-mail Sw. Dayamrita, but this incident seems to give a pretty clear answer. sweta Umesh <upasanibaba wrote: OM!
