Amma hugged soldiers of both sides. See http://www.amritapuri.org/amma/2005/502tigers.php The Tamil Tigers are noted for recruiting women and children to serve as shock troops. They're openly supported by much of Canada's large Sri Lankan community - while the Canadian government looks the other way. If there were a violent separatist group in Canada, say Les Tigres de Libération du Québec, and they were recruiting members and raising funds in Sri Lanka, do you think the Sri Lankan government would tolerate it? But Canada, with its lax immigration policy, is such an easy mark for would-be terrroists. Keval
